Looks great, good value, but not perfect This is a nice set for a reasonable price (I paid $1000). It looks great, and is just as pictured. The finish is a deep black, laid on thick, and arrived without any damage. The leather (I’m not sure if it’s real leather or leatherette) isn’t the thickest, but is well stitched. The texture is medium smoothness: you can feel the grain quite well but it isn’t knobby or bumpy. The bed frame is solid wood, but not hardwood.
